All four pieces are commonly used as part of the identity verification process.<a href=\"https:\/\/asginvestigations.com\/background_checks\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/06\/identity-verification.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-5908e4de\">\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-8fc80b44\">\n<div class=\"gb-grid-wrapper gb-grid-wrapper-2b02a22d\">\n<div class=\"gb-grid-column gb-grid-column-9ecfeed7\"><div class=\"gb-container gb-container-9ecfeed7\">\n\n<p>Make no mistake, when applicants have records they don\u2019t want you to find, they will attempt to hide them! This makes the identity verification process more complicated and actually works to conceal their identity from many computer based background checks. The best and most effective way for applicants to continue through the screening process without their negative records being discovered is to provide false or altered information to a background screening company.&nbsp; Often times, we see dates of birth slightly modified or social security numbers that are one or two digits off.&nbsp; Applicants know that the majority of searches rely on this information to produce results and can hide from the records they know exist by supplying different data than what is on record.&nbsp;
