Michigan Lt. Governor Brian Calley was the keynote speaker at the MCPI meeting hosted at the Michigan Restaurant Association in Lansing. Calley gave an update on the progress the State and the Snyder/Calley administration has made during the past year. After his presentation, the Lt. Governor was kind enough to filed questions from the membership about issues of concern, including the possibility of changes to the Michigan PI Act to strengthen the States enforcement of the industry. MCPI President Paul Dank presided over the meeting and also arranged for speakers from the State Department of Professional Licensing and the Michigan State Police spoke to the members.
